Win for Punjab and Andhra at the U-21 National quarter final

Punjab bowled Delhi out of the U-21 championship by defeating them 2-1. It was Delhi’s 2nd loss in as many matches in the Quarter final. Haryana and Goa played a goalless draw in the other group A quarter final league match held at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium today. Both the teams have four points from two matches and remain in the contention for the Semi final spot.

Andhra Pradesh kept their semi-final hopes alive defeating Meghalaya 3-1 in their group league match. Andhra Pradesh now has four points in two matches and will take on Jharkhand in their last league match. For Meghalaya, it was their second straight defeat which saw their exit from the championship. In the other Group B match at Nahar Singh Stadium, Faridabad, Jharkhand came from one goal down to hold Kerala in their second group league match.
