4th Inter District Football Tournament: BDFA primed for title clash against Shimoga


BDFA notched 2 back-to-back wins in the final round of the 4th inter district football tournament played at the Nehru stadium, Shimoga. Playing against Kodagu district, BDFA thrashed them 7-2. K Gopi pumped 4, Mohan 2, and Vinod scored a goal for BDFA. Shekar and Abubakar reduced the margin for Kodagu.

BDFA plays against Shimoga in their last match today at 4.30 pm. This match can be virtually termed as the final match as these two are the top teams in the final stage. The host, Shimoga district is formidable side consisting of several BDFA super division players on their rooster.

Both the teams are undefeated, posses equal points, and even identical on goal difference. Shimoga district has scored 8 goals and conceded 1 goal, whereas BDFA has scored 9 and conceded 2 goals. If the match ends in a draw, number of goal scored will be taken into consideration, and BDFA has a goal advantage.
