BDFA beat Davangere convincingly 3-0 in their first match of the 4th Inter District Football Tournament played at Nehru Stadium, Shimoga. Aircraftsman Vinod Kumar scored a brace in 9th and 40th minute while his namesake V Vinod hit the 3rd goal in the 58th minute.
BDFA plays their next match against Dakshin Kannada district tomorrow, Monday, May 31, 4.30 pm. The matches were played in a knock-out format till the quarter-finals. The top four qualified team plays in a round-robin format, and the top team wins the tournament. The 2 other teams are host, Simoga and Kodagu district.
