Samuel Appaji, IAS (retired), patron of Karnataka State
Football Association (KSFA) has served with distinction the KSFA, as Secretary
of the board of control of Bangalore Football Stadium.
Appaji was instrumental in getting the land on lease from
BBMP for constructing the Bangalore Football Stadium. He served the KSFA with
utmost integrity and fair-mindedness.
Samuel Appaji, 9I, is survived by his wife and two
daughters.
The funeral service will be held at 3 pm, St. Mark Cathedral,
M G Road. Burial will take place tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, 2012 at Hosur
Road Cemetery.
