Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2012-13: Greenwood International wins the Bangalore leg

Greenwood International School won the Bangalore leg of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge (MYFC). Playing a hard game against much tougher opponent, this school from Sarjapur road defeating Government Sports School 2-0. 

Both the goals were scored in the later half – diminutive midfielder  Aryaman opened the account for Greenwood in 34th minute, Rishab scored the second goal via penalty in 48th minute and sealed the fate for the Government Sports School.
Earlier in the third place classification match, St Aloysius beat Veda Vignana Maha Peeta 2-1. 




Pavan from Greenwood bagged the Player of the Final award and Prasanth from Government Sports School took away the Player of the Tournament trophy.

The final match was witnessed by two former Bangalore-based international players, Ilias Pasha and M Rajasekar.
