During an ongoing I-League 2 Division match sometime back, a piece of plaster came off from the left-wing roof of Bangalore Football
Stadium.
A former local footballer and HAL employee, Nagappa got injured. He was
bleeding profusely, he was taken to HAL Hospital immediately after some first-aid
treatment given to him in the Stadium.

Very tragic.I hope its not a serious injury.I wish the football authorities in Bangalore would do more to maintain & upkeep the stadium. Other than the pitch, the stadium is in pathetic condition.The least they could do is provide clean chairs for the paying spectators.
