The State association, KSFA announced their 20-member squad for the Santosh Trophy. The 64th edition of the senior national-level tournament will be played in Kolkata from July 15 to August 8.
Karnakata is grouped in Cluster I along with Meghalaya and Jharkhand. They start their campaign against Meghalaya on Thursday, July 15 and play their other group match on July 19. The winner from the group makes to the quarter-final stage.

So far Karnataka best performance has been as a finalist in the 1975-76 edition. However, erstwhile Princely State of Mysore had reached the final 8 times and won 4 times. Pradeep from state police will lead the team.
