Satish Kumar Jr. scores for Bagan

The boy from Gauthampuram scored his first I-league goal and helped Mohun Bagan to notch a 2-0 win over JCT at YBK, Kolkata.

Satish Kumar Jr. gave the lead to his side in the 60th minute via Snehashish Chakraborty corner, he took the possession in the left flank after the opponent defense failed to clear the ball. Satish then took a left-footed curling strike beating the JCT keeper.

It has been a decent season for Satish Kumar Jr., though he rarely played in the starting eleven in I-league, coach showed faith in his ability, and he was often drafted in the second half.

In all probability we’ll see him playing for the Green and Maroon brigade in the coming season. Also, we might see a couple of more players turning out for the Kolkata giant.
