Karnataka Referees Committee to conduct referees' exam

The Referees Committee of KSFA will be conducting an entrance examination for football referees in November at the Bengaluru Football Stadium, Interested Candidates from Karnataka can register through the AIFF website - www.the-aiff.com.

Eligibility criteria 

• Minimum Qualification: SSLC (Tenth grade) pass
• Age limit: l8 to 28 years

Classes will commence from the first week of October onwards at Bangalore Football Stadium. Examination fees applicable

Puttaiah and Prasanna Kumar Memorial Cup to take place in September

Puttaiah and Prasanna Kumar Memorial Cup, the knockout football tournament for the Super and A Division teams respectively will commence on the second week of September. Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA) invites entry from the BDFA Super and A Division teams. 

Entry fee for the participating teams are: 

Super Division 

• Professional club – 6,000/- 
• Institutional club – 4,000/- 

• Private club – 2,000/-  

A Division

• Professional club – 5,000/- 
• Institutional club – 3,000/- 
• Private club – 2,000/- 

Clubs should ensure that they have submitted players’ Registration Form ‘A’ for the 2018-19 season on or before August 31, 2018. 

The last date of receiving entry fee is September 8, 2018.

[Notice] Selection Camp - Senior National Women Football Championship

The Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) will be arranging a Selection Camp at Bangalore Football Stadium for Zonal leg of the Senior National Women Football Championship. The matches will be played during December 15 to 25. 

The selection camp will commence from Monday, November 30, onward from 7 AM.

Javier Cabrera, former Technical Director at Sporting Clube de Goa Academy and Assistant Coach of Sporting Clube de Goa will be starting an Advance Football Training Program. 

He is organizing open selections for U-14 and U-16 boys at at the SPT Sports facility, Sarjapur road on September 19 and 20.

Notice: HAL selection trials for 2012-13 season

Right after completing BDFA 2012 league engagement, H Chandrashekar, the newly appointed Technical Manager of HAL football team is setting his eyes for recruiting new players for the 2012-13 season. 

After relegating from I-League, majority of the players have already moved out, looking for greener pastures. Such was the paucity in yesterday’s match against MEG that team could only field 5 out 7 players in the reserve bench, and that too 2 were goal keepers. 

Earlier, Chandrashekar has expressed his displeasure over dependence of out stationed players and not producing enough Bangalore-based players in last couple of seasons, when HAL was in I-league. Looks like prioritizing local talents would be the flavor of the season!

The selection trials will be held at the HAL Sports Complex, from Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 8am onwards. The players will be selected on contract basis.
